Hands-on, in-home setup and tuning work for two-channel vinyl and hi-fi systems. I come to you, do the work, and your system sounds better by the end of the consultation.
What This Is
An in-home appointment where I help you get your vinyl or hi-fi system sounding the way it should. Could be a brand-new setup, a system that isn't quite right, or a room you're trying to dial in. Whatever it is, I bring the expertise and the tools. One hour minimum, longer if the work calls for it.

Existing system not sounding the way you want? Speaker placement, cartridge alignment, signal path. I work through it methodically.

What Makes Me the Right Person
I'm a Virginia Tech mechanical engineer with several vintage and high-end audio setups at home. That means I understand both the engineering and the listening side — what's actually happening in your system, and how to make it sound the way you want.
Best Fit
New to vinyl and don't know where to start? An existing setup that isn't sounding right? Approachable and vintage systems are my specialty.
Not the Right Fit
Two-channel hi-fi only — no home theater systems, and no brand-new ultra-high-end gear that requires specialized dealer installation.
